101 in 1001

6 Feb

With a weekend stuck at home, I knew I had to delve into a project, and the work I brought home with me was not an option. So, I made a 101 in 1001 list like I’ve seen on so many blogs. One of the things on my list is Project 365, so you’ll be seeing a daily post with pictures from me. Exciting, huh. The Project 365 only allows for one photo a day, but I’ll probably post more.

I slept until about 9:30 this morning and only woke up because of a text from one of my many suitors 😉 He’s much younger than me, but I’m enjoying the overflowing compliments I’m receiving from him. It’s nice to be called “gorgeous” in the morning.

I started off my morning with a bowl of Puffins and skim milk and settled myself on the couch to watch Disney Dream Weddings.  I tried to watch Lost, but I became disinterested in that and more interested in blogs and my 101 list. Do you ever get sucked into blog land by reading someone’s blog, clicking on their friends’ blogs, and ending up joining new sites and subscribing to about 171 new blogs. I’m obviously addicted.

For lunch, I had half of a Kashi pizza, and I had the rest of it for dinner. I’m still starving, but I’m afraid to eat more food for fear that I’ll eat it all and not be able to leave my house to get more food in this snowstorm. Speaking of the snow, they’ve already cancelled school on Monday. I snacked on a PB&J Larabar around 5… that flavor is my favorite! I tried the Cherry Pie yesterday at work, and it was just too bitter for my tastes.

Now, I’m watching Julie and Julia. I’ve tried to get through it for the past four nights. It’s not that it’s boring, but I just can’t stand Meryl Streep in this movie. This movie gets a C in my book.

I really only like the parts of the movie with Amy Adams. I looked up the Julie/Julia Project blog, and I was kinda surprised that she no longer blogs.

I didn’t get a whole lot of housecleaning done today, but I did fill up my entire recycling bin, so that  helped clear out my pantry (where I keep my recyclables).

Project 365 Pictures of the Day….

Snow Storm Oh Ten brought us about 2 feet of snow...

A day with no make-up

I spent most of the day on the couch reading blogs

Now I’m going to watch some Big Love and see what else I can eat! I’m hungry!!!

So I’m loving your new digs. I’ve been thinking about moving as well. Why is wordpress better than blogger or rather why benefits do wordpress offer?

Thank you 🙂 I think I like the “cleaner” look of WordPress, and I just wanted to start over with a new theme. Plus, I like being able to reply to comments. I feel like customizing, posting, etc is a lot more organized with WordPress.

And it’s SUPER easy to import your Blogger posts over to WordPress. And… there’s an iPhone app so I can post from my phone anywhere. I’m sure there’s a lot more benefits I haven’t even discovered yet.

I gotta say, I don’t miss Blogger at all.

You’ve sold me on the iPhone app. I just got an iTouch for Christmas.

LOL! Glad I could help 🙂 Have you downloaded the “Lose It” app? It helps me keep track of my calories and exercise, and you can print out spreadsheets of your progress on their website.
