My Famous Chicken Ring

24 Dec

When my brother invited all of us to Christmas Eve at his house, I knew exactly what to make. My chicken ring goes over so well every time I make it!

You first start out with 2 canisters of crescent rolls placed in a circle on a round baking sheet or baking stone. Don’t forget to pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.

015

Next, drain 2 large cans of chicken and mash the large pieces of chicken in to smaller pieces.

016

Add 3/4 cup mayo, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup crumbled bacon bits, and 2 tablespoons of Spinach & Herb dip mix. (If you don’t have Spinach and Herb mix from Tastefully Simple, you can make your own mix with dill, garlic, and dried spinach flakes.

017

018

Then scoop the mix on the ring you made of crescent rolls.

020

023

Then wrap the crescent rolls over the mix and tuck.

024

Sprinkle the top with a little cheese.

027

Then bake for 15-17 minutes.

It was loved by all once again!

We make something very similar. I think we use Dijon mustard and mozzarella cheese, but it is still delicious. And always a big hit.
